# Need help with page settings

I’m building a new site, I don’t know where to find the basic instructions of what to enter in the Page Settings for Browser Title, Folder, and File Name.

Despite digging through the user manual, I can’t find the most basic of information to fill in all the blanks step by step. I’m new to Elements after using Rapidweaver many years ago so I’m basically beginning again.

Hi @Laurie

No problem, the below should help:

Let’s say your page had to do with apples, for example the most nutritious apples. So those fields you mentioned could be something like:

**Browser Title** : The top ten most nutritious apple types

**Folder** : apples

**Filename** : index.html (or index.php if you are using the CMS component)

Another example, let’s say your page had to do with beautiful beaches. So:

**Browser Title** : The world’s top 10 most beautiful beaches

**Folder** : beautiful-beaches

**Filename** : index.html (or index.php if you are using the CMS component)

Basically the **browser title** describes what the page is about, the **folder** should be a short name relating to the page content, and the **filename** should be either index.html or index.php.
