When creating a dropdown list in Formloom 4, is there a way to make the top item a non-selectable placeholder or header? So for example, the list might be:

Please Select…(non selectable)
option 1
option 2
option 3

…where the user MUST select one of the options. Easy enogh to make the filed mandatory but the problem with just putting ‘Please select’ as a selectable option is that they can of course simply choose ‘Please Select’ which is not veery helpful!

I’m sure I did this once a long time back but cannot remember where (if indeed I succeeded).

Particularly interested in Formloom as this is what I use by default However other solutions also of interest.

Cheers
