# Pic filenames in gallery or masonry?

Hi.

Is there a way to show the filenames of the pics in the gallery or masonry? or do I have to batch edit the metadata of the files in order to get this done?

I assume you are asking about the Gallery component included in Elements , and the free Masonry Images component?

If so, neither of those component support displaying filenames, authors, captions, or meta data.

However, [Gallery Pro](elementsapp://storeProduct/com.elementsplatform.gallerypropack) does support displaying the file author, caption, and meta data.
