\*\*_The minutia in the source coding is a struggle._

I am getting errors related to the positioning of my:

meta charset=“utf-8”

**Apparently the information is required in the first 1024 bytes of the head section in the html file. Any ideas on how to reposition the script. Currently it follows the google analytics , meta description and rw/elements scripts.**

**In project settings/Template can/should I position (cut/paste) it earlier in the section?**

Hi @MHA

Are you noticing any issues with character encoding on your website?

Even though technically meta charset should be placed as high as possible in the head section, I don’t think it’s anything to worry with unless you are seeing some weird or garbled character encoding on your website..

Let us know. 🙂

Dan, have not seen any character encoding issues on my sites - all is well. This came up as I pursued a low priority error code notice identified in cloudflare dashboard. Perfecting source code and seo issues are a timesink and usually a irrelevant tangent. Thanks for the response.
