I’m trying to set up pretty URLs for my website, but I can only get it to work partly. I suspect the problem is that I have set up three separate CMS sections on my website, one for a traditional blog, one for image galleries and one for my policies.

Can I have more than one pretty URL per website when using Elements CMS?

If so, how do I resolve the `<base href="/">` issue of having more than one cause conflicts?

I can follow the instructions on the CMS docs page and create three .htaccess files for each subfolder.

You can use multiple Pretty URLs within a single website when using Elements CMS.

Of course, you need to adjust the rules in your `.htaccess` file for each CMS section you have set up.

The important thing is that you **do not create three separate `.htaccess` files**. Instead, you should include all the necessary rules for your different CMS sections in a single `.htaccess` file.

In general, using Pretty URLs for multiple different directories is no problem at all. I currently have more than 50 different CMS sections set up this way, and I can add additional ones at any time without any issues.

As for exactly what your `.htaccess` rules should look like, that’s difficult to say without seeing some specific examples of your URLs and folder structure.

Thanks @Pegasus

The trick - as you say- is just to have one main `.htaccess` file. I was adhering too strictly to the instructions of the CMS docs page and trying the subfolder.
