There appears to be a problem with the Text component. If you select and delete all of the text in the component and then click out of it to another component. You can never get back into the component to enter text. I have tested this numerous times now and am never able to get back into the text component to enter text. You can enter text after deleting all the existing text if you don’t click outside the component. But the minute you click outside you are unable to get back in. Maybe I’m missing something but this seems to be a bug. ---

Yeah, this is a known issue 😬 We just need to add a way to get back into the editing box (or add back in some default text) if it’s empty. ---

@dan and @ben I just ran into this bug from 6 months ago. It’s not fixed yet as far as I can tell. Is there a fix I can’t find? I’m trying to make a Template with empty text fields. ---

This is a serious issue and not fixed yet. I created a Template using Globals with global override text blocks. If I remove the placeholder text from the text block and accidentally don’t enter other text, then all is lost. I’ve tried everything imaginable to try to bring back the ability to add text again with no luck. The only solution is to start over again. I tried to replace the text block with a new text block, and that messed up all the previous entries I made. Here’s an example. The empty text blocks are dead. No way to bring them back. The only solution is to recreate the page. Yes, this is a very annoying bug; hopefully it will be fixed in the not-too-distant future. It has caught me on many occasions. ---

not ideal but my work around if I remember, until this is fixed, frustrating other wise when I delete all the text then try to enter text and no access I select something else and undo, have to remember though after a while editing or add components it doesnt work, need to do straight away dont leave blank😢 ---

I don’t understand why this longstanding problem has not been fixed. There are so many of these little things that seem to be slipping through the cracks. ---
