# Problems with Internet Explorer

Using RapidWeaver 8 with ASPEN theme. When I publish and try to view with Internet Explorer 11 the site (under the banner) is black. Anyway to fix that using ASPEN? Example site: dariodomingues.paulweber.ca

@WhiteZulu How strange, do you have a screenshot of it?

We’ll look into it and see if we can find a workaround, must be a bit of CSS IE11 doesn’t like…

Hi, here is a screen capture when using IE explorer 11 (though this is actually a Chrome extension that stimulates that. The problem isn’t the header or menu, it is the black box where it should be white with text. For this site dariodomingues.paulweber.ca

We don’t have a test machine for IE 11, but can you try placing the following code into the site-wide CSS area:

```auto
body{
	background: #ffffff!important;
{

```
