# Project will not save or publish

I have been working with RW for a fair few years and have a reasonably large website. I am now suddenly having problems saving and publishing updates to my site. When I click on “Save”, all seems fine until I try to either exit or publish when I get the dreaded buffering beachball. This goes on forever until I feel forced to “Force Quit”. When I restart, the changes have not been saved. Amy suggestions???

Not an expert @bryanlaguna by any means, but if it was me, I would restart everything and see where that leads you.

Weirdly - purely by trial and error - it seems that if I take the following steps, I can work around the issue:

1. Update only one page at a time
2. Save
3. Publish

If, however, I try to save after publishing, the overall project file as updated is not saved and I have to Force Quit…!
