# Publishing to local folder generates error message

Hello Element creators,  
i try to publish a site to my local folder an I got this message several times  
The website address is  
incorrectly configured  
Please update the website address  
and try again.  
I don’t know what else I should configue

Publishing Method  
Local Folder  
Choose Folder… /Applications/MAMP/htdocs  
Override Website Address  
empty

Backup Frequency  
Never Download Backup  
No backup available

any ideas?

Check that your General settings \>\> Web Address field is correct:
