# Rapidweaver 6 - never been able to update.... how?

Just got a message in my RW 6.3.8 saying I need to update to 6.4.

Click the update now button (which I always do, for many versions, and many months). As usual, it doesn’t update.

Usually it says ‘installing’ etc. When I try and start the program, it won’t start.  
There is progress this time though; it shows the install progress, then I start the program, and it reminds me to update RW again. So at least it doesn’t corrupt RW now.

So, what am I doing wrong?

What I usually have to do is download from the updated RW6 from the Realmac site, but of course RW6 is no longer there, it’s RW7 now.

So how do I get the latest version of RW6?

So frustrating, but it’s always done the same for me…
