# RapidWeaver 7.5.7 – Can't connect via FTPS while FileZilla and Cyberduck work fine

Hello,

I’m using **RapidWeaver 7.5.7** on **macOS Catalina 10.15.7**.

My hosting is with **METANET (Switzerland)**.

Publishing settings:

- Server: `cicero.metanet.ch`
- User: `tmnoch`
- Remote folder: `/httpdocs`
- FTPS

After resetting the FTP password in Plesk, **FileZilla** and **Cyberduck** connect perfectly with the same settings.

However, **RapidWeaver** still shows:

**« Couldn’t sign in to your FTP server. Couldn’t connect to server. »**

I have checked:

- the FTP account is correct;
- the password is correct;
- FileZilla and Cyberduck work;
- so the problem only exists with RapidWeaver 7.5.7.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? Is it an incompatibility with recent versions of TLS/FTPS, or is there a particular setting that needs to be adjusted?

Can you try removing and re-adding the FTP account, see if that resolves the issue?

Do you have any idea when it stopped working? That might give us a clue as to what changed to break it.
