For me RapidWeaver 8.0.1 identified and says it downloaded the 8.0.2 update. However it never completed the update install and doesn’t relaunch the app. When I check the app it is still at release 8.0.1. I tried this numerous times to no avail. I also have 7.5.5 installed on this same OS, but it is not open at the same time I tried this in app update.

Shouldn’t in-app updates work reliably?

@dan 8.02 still has the “social tags image bug.” When you drag in an image to the Social tag, it is not producing the complete URL in the code

  • Should be <meta name="twitter:image" content="https://www.mywebsite.com/resources/myimage.jpg">
  • Rapidweaver produces <meta name="twitter:image" content="/resources/myimage.jpg">

This goes for both the Twitter Cards and Open Graph code when using images

How to make the “Inspect Element” window open like in browsers, at the bottom of the program?
Now the window opens separately, and when I wanted to make it to the right side, both windows, Preview and the Inspect Element, began to flash rapidly. Restarted the program, select the position of this window at the bottom, the same effect, both windows blink.

We’re working on this and will get it fixed. Sorry for the delay!
