I have a very large (1.5Gb) site that looks fine in RW5, but I’d like to move it to RW7. It opens fine but each page is missing it’s content.

See screenshots here: [RW5 crashing on macOS High Sierra](http://forums.realmacsoftware.com/t/rw5-crashing-on-macos-high-sierra/18877/6)

There are a lot pages, how can I fix this for all of them?

Strongly suggest upgrading to _RW 7.5_ for High Sierra.

What version of RW 5 are you running? Not sure but if I understand what’s going on for you. The other post of yours said RW4, so it sounds like you’re going through the update process outlined here?

[https://realmacsoftware.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/36000001229-upgrading-sites-to-rapidweaver-7](https://realmacsoftware.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/36000001229-upgrading-sites-to-rapidweaver-7)

Is it at the intermediate step at RW5 you’re having the problem?
The other post shows a blank screen RW7 not RW5, and you mentioned crash, did something like RW5 crash?
From the article above you need to go through RW5.4.1 with your project, before going to RW7, what happens when you try 5?

I finally got it opened in RW5 (had to get someone else to save it, kept crashing on me) and saved to the “new” format that RW7 can read.

However, when I open it in RW7, the content of each page is missing (like in the screenshot).

There are hundreds of pages in this site, how can I get it working properly in RW7?

Lastly, thanks for everyone’s help, I’m new to RW (helping my father in law) so this is all a mystery to me.

One thing to note about switching from RW 5 to RW 7. If you are using plugin pages made by 3rd party developers, BE SURE to update to the latest version. Also, many developers have left since RW 4 and 5 so maybe there is no update for that plugin type, then the page would have to be remade. You have hundreds of pages, but what page types are they? Are they stacks? Styled Text? 3rd Party Dev pages?? Might help if we know this.

I have no clue what they are, how can I tell? I’m happy to provide any information required. This is my father-in-law’s site and I’ve never used RW, I’m just trying to help him.

I never had RW4 or 5, started with RW6, but on the screenshot, you gave in the prior post to the left there should be a page listing:
 ![2018-02-28_12-17-12](https://europe1.discourse-cdn.com/flex005/uploads/realmacsoftware1/original/2X/4/43a149e14aa9e2b640cf6bc2a6923f4a8b68d83f.png)
That might help id what kind of pages(also called plugin) these pages are.

There is also a menu option under the “rapidWeaver” menu that is called manage add-ons. This might help ID the differnet plug-ins that are installed.

Nothing like that in RW5. They seems like just standard pages. No plugins afaik.

OK, here are the basic page types that you should see on your left hand page, if they are there.

From Blog to Styled Text are the ones that come by default with RW 5, Stacks is a 3rd party developer one.

Do any of your pages look like these??

Based on the screenshot from your other thread, the page there looks like a Styled Text page, but there could be others.

They’re almost all styled pages, with the odd Photo Album.

I would contact support here

or
[support@realmacsoftware.com](mailto:support@realmacsoftware.com)
and ask for help, they would have ideas on how to convert it. I know Brian gave you a link in the other thread, but it sounds like you have tried that and it does not work.
Good luck!
