# SnippetsLab now has a built-in MCP server

I think a few people here might be using [SnippetsLab](https://www.renfei.org/snippets-lab/). For those that aren’t it’s a pretty neat app for storing code snippets and notes, and it’s free on the Mac App store. I’ve been using it for a long while to store all my code snippets that I use for work and so forth.
Anyway they just added MCP support in the latest release, so you can automatically save any snippets that might be useful when you are working in your AI app.

Configure agents in Settings \> Integrations \> AI Agents & Command Line Tools. See AI Agents and Command Line Tools for details.
I find it easier to keep all my snippets organized in SnippetsLab rather than searching for them in my various AI apps when I need them again.
Thought I’d post because I think it’s useful to be able to tell the AI to save that snippet in SnippetsLab for me instead of having to manually copy it over. 🙂
