Is it possible to sort pictures I have dropped randomly into a photo album to appear chronological ?

Please let me know.

You are talking about the default photo plugin?

What’s in your opinion chronological? Time of picture taken?

The order is defined by the order in the album.

Yes, the default Photo Album page.
Chronological for me in this case is: Date / Time
