Hello All,

Is anyone aware of a stack that allows for the listing, categorising and filtering of items (e.g. hire equipment items)? At this point it isn’t necessary to allow for payment options but that may become a requirement down the line. I am aware that I can do this using third-party scripts but I was wondering if there may be a stack that my Googling has not turned up.

Cheers,
Beem

Hi

Have you looked at Doobox Hunter stack? [http://www.doobox.co.uk/stacks\_store/demos/hunter.html](http://www.doobox.co.uk/stacks_store/demos/hunter.html)

Hi Nigel,

Thanks for the reply.

Yep, I have indeed and it looks really cool. I am looking for something that would allow for price listings and CMS type functionality similar to a PHPJabber script.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Cheers,

Hi Beem,

My Filter stack would allow you to include basic ‘add to cart’ or ‘buy now’ buttons into each entry; depending on the shopping cart provider you intend to use:

Also in the stack settings, you can change the **Item Source** setting from _local_ to _warehoused_. If using warehoused, then your inventory of filtrable items will be pulled-in from a plain text file stored elsewhere. This is a useful feature if you want to maintain your inventory of filtrable items outside of RapidWeaver or permit clients to keep things updated themselves, which is the approach some Filter stack users have taken.

There is a free demo version of the Filter stack available, if you want to download and test it against other filter / sorting stacks and compare it.

-Will.

Filter’s a really powerful stack.
