I have the starter hosting plan, with my files sitting in the /public\_html folder.

If I were to add a second site to my hosting plan is it acceptable to create a new folder for the 2ndSite like this;

/public\_html/2ndSite/

And would I point to the 2nd domain like this;

mydomain/public\_html/2ndSite

Thanks.

Hi @DazFisher

Unless you are going for that specific file path, I think it would be easier to create a subdomain outside of the public\_html folder.

For example when you create something like:

`https://blog.example.com`

It will create a directory automatically for you outside of the public\_html directory, that way your individual sites are more tidy

More information on how to create subdomains can be found here [Subdomains | Hosting | RapidWeaver Elements Docs](https://docs.realmacsoftware.com/elements-docs/hosting/websites/manage-websites/domains/subdomains)

Let me know if you have any questions about anything. 🙂
