Good Morning, has anyone figured out how to add superscript and subscript to text. I will be using this a lot for the next section of my website. I saw this is the standard markup in tailwind but so far I have not needed to add html inline with my text. Thanks in advance.

`2`

`EDIT: TL;DR: This is a workaround solution. ` [Superscript Subscript - Solved with workaround - #6 by annebourdon](https://forums.realmacsoftware.com/t/superscript-subscript/57861/6)

Maybe add the option to the typography component? That would be very nice. 🙂

I had AI generate a list of superscripts and I copy and pasted them into the Text component.

Hoping for a non AI solution and a bunch of copy-paste. Kinda defeats the point of WYSIWYG application.

This is something that really should be added to the typography component, as it is sorely missed.

Hi @Flash,

This what I do in a text or typography component :
I select the word or letter I want to be superscript and, in the sidebar-inspector I add two tailwind-classes : “align-super text-xs”
and for subscript : “align-sub text-xs”.

Yes, this is the solution I use as well; unless it is Markdown text, then I use the HTML approach.

Thank you all. I can confirm this works and is a solution. However I have thousands of footnotes, this is not an elegant way to do it. If I automate it with html or markdown I lose the use of many of the other tools Elements has. Hopefully one day it will be built in and with a keystroke short cut.
