Support for HEIC format?

Hi there,

Just wondering if Squash is getting support for the new Apple HEIC format? Or can these files not be compressed more with software like Squash?

From my limited understanding, these are Apple’s version of our RapidWeaver project files - they’re essentially a folder that Apple reads and serves the most appropriate image resolution. Smaller screens get smaller sized images, etc. That said, we most likely wouldn’t support optimizing that file.

If you have these files and want to convert them to .jpg…there is a free utility out there.
