Would it be possible to have a keyboard shortcut to enter the Text Component? Such as Command+Enter, or Option+Enter?

Nice idea 😊 I’ve logged it in our bug tracker and we’ll aim to get this feature into a future build!

Or maybe just Enter? Seems more natural than adding a modifier key.

I have noticed another problem where the text component is empty and loses focus. It is then no longer possible to edit the default text, thus rendering the component inoperable.

The text component could be programmed to respond to a double click and check to see if editing the text is not in edit mode, and then switch to the text edit mode.

I also recommend adding an “Edit Text” menu item to the popup menu for the text component.
