If I paste some text into the Typography Component, the line breaks in the text pasted are ignored and the text just runs on when previewed in a browser.

However, if text is typed into the Typography Component any returns are respected and retained.

The video shows in the first Typography component text pasted into the Typography component, from a plain text file file from BBEdit. Each paragraph is separated by two returns. The second Typography component shows the default text, with a couple of returns entered. Then the page is previewed in Safiri. There is the same result in FireFox.

Using macOS 15.3.2/Elements 0.6.6

I have noticed this also. Thankfully, I have virtually no long form text on my website.

My workaround: delete and re-add the returns in the editor once the text is copied to it.

This is a known issue and is on the list to fix very soon!
