# Tip To Speed Up Preview

Hello RWers- Hope this helps others. I’ve had a terrible problem previewing my projects. Each preview would take ~10seconds or more. Adds up after awhile and would sometimes cause crashes. After a lot of troubleshooting, here’s what I learned.

- If your theme supports the ability to turn on EC areas, don’t select them unless you’re using them.

I was using Endeavor and I wound up having 2/3 EC area selected for viewing, but they didn’t exist. As soon as I unselected the EC options, the preview speed went to about 2seconds at most and it doesn’t seem to crash.
