# Topography and Text

If I select a topography component in the page layout view I get a different inspector compared to if I select the text in the topography component. Why not just have this as a single panel?

Selecting the typography component allows you to set the style for the text in the _whole_ component. When you select text within the component, you can then set an inline style for _just_ that text.

Sure. But this is a “selection” issue. What’s selected determines which panel you get. I do wish there was a way to “go up” from the Text Style panel to the Typography panel without going back to the Component and reselecting. In other words, I’m styling some individual text when I realize that the whole block needs to be resized. Should be a one-click thing to get there.
