# Transition to Classic from RW 8 advice please

I have been using Rapid weaver 8 for many years now. I run a simple website so I would llke to make an easy transition to Classic rather than Elements. I have MacBook Air 2024 M3 chip. Will Rapidweaver classic work with Tahoe and the upcoming Golden Gate?

RapidWeaver Classic already works with Tahoe and it’s still receiving updates to make sure it works on the newest macOS version (which will be Golden Gate). You can grab a license on our website [here](https://www.realmacsoftware.com/rapidweaver-classic/) if needed.
