# Turning off Magic Quotes - any negative ramifications with RW and any Stacks?

Gary at Kuler Solutions was kind enough to troubleshoot an issue I was having with Kuler Edits and the solution is to turn off Magic Quotes on my server. I’m just wondering if there is a good reason for either RW or any Stacks to need to have it turned ON, before I get support to turn it off.
