# Unexpected Behaviour in Edit Mode showing Margins

The way it shows in the editor one would think I added some top padding to the paragraph. It’s margin though. The look of the box model in preview should be changed accordingly to reflect that.

It shows correct in the code though.

Yeah, I understand what you’re saying. Right now it highlights the entire area of the Element.

We have talked about showing padding and margin differently in the editor, but it’s actually quite complex to implement (so it’s not something we’ll add during the beta). It is on the list for the future though 👍
