# Updating to Elements 1.6.3

When I try to update 1.6.2 to 1.6.3 I get this far:

Don’t worry, you can always just download a fresh copy from the [Elements website](https://realmacsoftware.com/rapidweaver/)!

And here’s a direct link: [https://realmacsoftware.com/download/elements/](https://realmacsoftware.com/download/elements/)

Once downloaded, make sure Elements is not running and then replace the old version in your Applications folder with the newly downloaded version.
