UPG Ascent Project, the Aspen theme successor

Hi guys, here another new project, ASCENT design for Elements.

This project uses Elements’ layout tools to create a clean, consistent design that works smoothly on all devices

Regurar or Smart Navigation:

In Ascent, you can add an additional scrolling menu to replace navigation on desktop and mobile devices. The menu button changes behavior based on the device: On desktop, it’s only visible when scrolling the page. On mobile, the MENU button stays in place, but you can scroll through the contents, perfect for long menus!

Options beyond Elements

Back to top button, Scroll Bar, Banner Parallax, Fade-In BODY and more

You’ll appreciate the detailed notes and commented code in Ascent, allowing you to experiment and tweak settings with confidence.

Project pages:

Home, Pages, Contact, Smart Menu 3x, Gallery, Helps, About and and ‘Starter Page’, your starting point to launch your website. Plus two technical pages and term & Privacy

The template is now available in the markertplace

Congrats on the release, this is indeed a worthy successor to the Classic Aspen Theme :tada:

Keep up the good work :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Thanks a lot!

Aspen :trophy: remains at the forefront of design and offers creative insights that Ascent has explored in depth, on its own path, towards elements!

I’m working on a few more projects like this one

Amazing as always well done!

Well done you! I purchased it, and plan to use it as the basis for my site migration and redesign.

Thanks a lot!

Ron, thanks — I’m glad about this. I’m here if you need help.
BTW, I’m working on some improvements to the embedded components (nothing in the project has changed, just the components). Stay tuned for more news.

Congrats :balloon: Amazing project :clap:t2::clap:t2::clap:t2:

This is awesome! Question…

Can you show a page type that would be like a blog post with the menu tree component? That would be my most common page type and one I would need to set-up. Thanks!

Hi Flash. I’m not sure I understand, in Ascent Tree it’s used for the menu.

Would you like a site tree visible on the page? If you show me something similar, I’ll understand better, thanks :folded_hands:

You can also send me a PM.

thanks!

Hi, I would use it as a tier 3-4 page for related articles. It would reside inside the article container. This would be in an addition to the existing navigation you already have in the theme. I’m sure I can figure it out, just thought it would be a nice addition.

If I understand correctly, this is a simulation of a classic blog, or am I wrong?

Once the CMS is finished and we have the final version, I’ll include an extended demo with a category archive in every existing project.

In any case, you can do it now by building a menu for each page, but it’s static.

Fair enough. I am going to build a manually curated blog, So I can do it, hopefully.

Thanks for your understanding Flash!, usually the projects reflect the needs of most users
