# Upgrade from RW 7.5.7 to RW 8.7

Hi,

Please help.  
I have been moving house, so I had no time for RW.  
Now I want to upgrade to 8.7 from 7.57.  
Please tell me what to do to avoid trouble.

Hi Barbara,

Purchase RW 8.7 and install it. Open your RW 7 project in RW 8.7. This will create a copy of your existent project version. If necessary do some adjustments to the new project.  
I installed RW 8 next to RW 7, just in case I still needed to work on the older projects.
