I don’t seem to be able to find a way to put rounded corners on a navbar, is this possible?

In trying to put an uniform inset on the navbar it does not appear to be applying the inset to the left and right edges. It applies it no problem to the top but nothing happens on the left and right edges. When I could not get this to work I tried the “individual” option and manually set the left and right edges. But still nothing happened, no change. In desperation I tried to apply a margin to these two edges and it applied it to the left edge but the right edge remained flush with the right edge of the editor. Then I tried setting the sizing to “Theme Spacing” and then the margin worked. Wow, this was all a little confusing.

I could not find an way of changing the color of the mobile hamburger menu. It seems to always be set to BLACK and no option I could find to adjust it. Is this just something that still needs to be added?

Finally, when adding a navbar it creates a WHITE background by default, as well as an area the size of the navbar. So to get the navbar to “float” above my banner I had to set a negative top margin the height of the navbar. Is this the correct approach or is there some other trick to getting the navbar to float above the banner?

Converting to the v2 components is going to be a slow process as there is a big learning curve with them.

OK, I figured out how to add the rounded corners, but wow that is a little obscure.

You have to enable borders and then you can access the rounded corners in there. If you don’t want borders you leave the defaults for the border intact. That is not very intuitive as at first I thought it only applied to the borders, guess not.

I also figured out how to get the margins to work. I had to set the Sizing to Theme Spacing and then they worked correctly. This is taking some spelunking to figure out some of this stuff.

Good catch, we’ll get that added!

Glad you got it figured out. I also think if you give it a few more days you’ll know where everything is, and it’s much faster to work with than V1 (as so many of the settings are shared).

This will be fixed in the next beta.

We have also added a custom option so you can drop in any component and create your own mobile menu trigger.

Here’s a sneak peek of what you’ll be able to do 🙂

Aloha Dan,

Yes, there is a lot to learn, but I’m still not convinced that this “Border” section is right. I would prefer to have the corners be a separate item that can be turned on and off independent of the borders.

It just seems awkward to have to turn ON the borders in order to see the corners.

The mobile trigger color option is great, thanks.

I would also like to see some means to do the same thing with the CLOSE box on a mobile menu, where I can control either the color or the icon.
