# What's going on over at DreamHost?

Anybody know what’s going on over at DreamHost? @MichaelDroste @thominator ?

Seems like a cyber attack, but the details are sparse and DreamHost is being very tight lipped about it for the moment…

Yes - I was locked out

Support walked me through global password reset…

Got an email today:

Correct, they haven’t been very clear. And it seems as if different people had different experiences. I had to reset all passwords for SFTP and mail, but not my main one (probably because I’m using two factor authentication.
