My name is Thomas Bønes, and I’m from Norway.

I’m a software developer, web designer and computer technician and consultant in general. Everything IT-related, I do.

I started my company, Bønes IT Kompetanse at the age of 18 in the year 2000. I kind of decided to do that when I was 12…

My company also delivers cash registers, print on demand, produces boxes (on a Zünd cutting machine - I like machines…), prints t-shirts, mugs etc, and even help the musicians in their studios. So, I’m having great variety in my work…

I’ve just started on Elements, and I’m on my way to make a bunch of new websites for my company (and clients). I can code a website if I need to - but I love the WYSIWYG-stuff - and I enjoy working locally on the Mac.

I think I’ve tried everything - and I’m so happy to have come across Elements. What I like with Elements is the total solution. I also like more advanced solutions, and I get the impression that I will be able to customize my experience with Elements - and I can enjoy coding when I want to. Especially, I like the globals, custom components and the CMS and template thing.

It’s also wonderful that the team is sharing so much with the community about the ongoing development etc. Great ways of teaching on YouTube, and though simple to understand, it’s more than the basics. I especially like that the content is both for basic use of Elements and for development of components and packs.
