1LD Support?

I can see that 1LD have historically been slow to respond to support requests, but it has been 11 days now and my client is getting twitchy. I am trying to be patient but am I waiting in vain?

Try again - they do respond here also…

Is it anything we can help with?

I, too, have found 1LD to be very slow. I submitted a request a few days ago and have received nothing to date. I have a lot of 1LD stacks, but I’m having second thoughts as to whether I should buy any more from them.

Thanks Dan. Just a glitch with Simple Tabs. If I use more than one set of nested tabs the subsequent sets do not play well, with the tab backgrounds not correct until clicked. I tried it with their own example project and it is the same, so perhaps it is an inherent limitation but it seems a bit off not to be able to use more than one set of nested tabs. My test page below, with Approach working fine but Flooring and the last tab not: St Marys Creative Space | Venue and Location

Ah yes, that looks like a bug in the stack you’re using and something @1LittleDesigner is going to need to fix for you :frowning:

Jonathan has now responded and has resolved the issue. Thanks for pitching in.

That’s great. I am still waiting on a response from @1LittleDesigner! Not sure if he handles one response a week.

Actually, after initially working it seems there is still a problem so I am not quite there yet and am hoping for further help ASAP. Hope you get a response soon, Frank!

To stir the pot a bit. I can’t imagine 1LD is doing these stacks on a full time basis, as I would think they would starve. Meanwhile try getting a response from Apple, who makes billions from us, loyal minions. I am a loyal supporter of these small developers who make my website production a lot easier than learning coding. As to 1LD, I have always gotten support, sometimes it just takes a bit longer.

Yes, I agree and am prepared to be patient as I know they must be up against it. As it goes, I have created a nice work-around using JW’s Peak-a-boo stack (which is a great tool). It works so well I might just keep it, and I’m sure Jonathan will get to Simple Tabs at some point and give it a proper sort-out. My solution is here if you want to see it:

Nice site, I like how quickly the tabs work and look, going down instead of across. Clean and functional. That is what I like, as you can find multiple stacks for solutions.

Very nice and snappy, I like it.

That’s fair enough. I have a small business too, that I run on a part-time basis, but if it has been 6 days since I received a support request from a customer and have not replied to it, I would be out of business. @1LittleDesigner

Well, our community has already lost a number of contributors….many of whom were very responsive and supportive of our needs. Not arguing with you, by the way.

In Apple’s defense, they helped me out in the past with a couple of issues quite fast and friendly.

But I do see your point on one-person devs compared to mega corps, and we should cut one-person devs a bit of slack now and again.

Signed,
A one-person dev

I finally received a response from @1LittleDesigner. It took a while, but finally received updated stacks.
