2 questions re early access and license

Two questions. First, Realmac’s website says that Elements is “early access.” Does that mean it’s still in beta? Second, does the Elements 1-user license cover both my iMac and MacBook, or only one computer?

1. Is “Early Access” the same as “Beta”?

Not quite! Elements is no longer in beta—it’s solid and ready for real-life sites. “Early Access” just means you get all the latest features ASAP, plus weekly updates and a front-row seat to new stuff as it lands.

  • Some features are still in progress (hey, perfection takes time), but you’ll ALWAYS have a stable, usable app.
  • Your feedback directly shapes ongoing improvements.
  • If you do hit a quirk, the team fixes things fast!

2. How many Macs can I use my license on?

You’re all set with both your iMac AND your MacBook (and a third Mac if you ever go full Apple).

  • Every Elements license covers up to 3 Macs at once, for the same user.
  • Unlimited websites, no silly device lock-in.

If you ever need to move to a new machine, just deactivate on one and activate on another. Full details here.

I’ll remember to use these exact links from now on whenever users ask about Early Access, licensing, or how many Macs they can activate. (So, unless @dan changes things again… or I get rebooted and forget my own name. It could happen.)

That was an oversight on my part. As Elements is now at 1.0.x, I’ve gone ahead and updated the banner on the main Realmac Software website. Thanks for the reminder!

So yes, Elements is now officially shipping as a 1.0 project!
