A ghost page

I’m still having trouble with one page uploaded to my test site. There pager shows perfectly within Elements when I preview it.

But were viewed on there website, it looks like this:

I’v e tried deleting the page and adding a new, fresh page. But it’s like there is a ghost page that always takes over. Here is link to my file:
elementsapp://downloadDocument/WbT1PAoKXIcJ
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

I found another problem. In my eagerness to try to fix the problem, I somehow not able to link to the pager (Past Shows) although it appears on the FTP site:

Shen I highlight the page in the menu, the actual url shows at the bottom of Safari’s window.

Here is the updated file where the page has disappeared from the site even though it is shown in the FTP site.

ok not sure which page you are referring to, but this is what it looks like to me

Something else, you have a lot of float in the first 2 pages, assume you are aware, not checked all of your Globals and how they work

I expect you deleted everything in your test site and uploaded a fresh version

It’s the Past Shows page that doesn’t load properly (or not all). I’m thinking I should delete the whole site from my server and republish the site.

So I’ve deleted from the server, PAST SHOWS. But when up republish the site, the page PAST SHOWS doesn’t show up on the FTP site. And also if I republish the site, the old elements and files are not overwritten. So I’m stuck with whatever errors I had.

have tried publishing to a local folder

I think I know the problem. I just don’t know how rot fix it. I’m publishing to a sub domain (alt.beckysiamon.ca). This is my publishing set up:

Here is what is uploaded to the server:

The problem is, this index.html file is not used to show the site. It’s a completely different index file that can’t connect to “past_shows.” or a recently changed page: contact_new.

If I export to the desktop, the index file works, but menu links go to a folder rather than its contents.

are you using Cyberduck, if so can you copy all the files you published to the desktop to your online path rather than through Elements

I have no idea republishing you need Realmac or someone who has a better idea

I always just use Cyberduck

I’m not certain how you’ve configured your subdomain but you may need to set “path” in the publishing details to the root folder of your subdomain. (I also make a practice of avoiding spaces in folder names. I_use_underscore.)
