I’m trying to create a content slider of images, but after I insert the first one, all images can only be placed above the content slider, or below it.
drag a content slider onto the page
drag an image symbol onto the page
drag a jpg onto the image
try to add another image that will scroll horizontally
nope – it appears above the content slider, or below it. Never within.
Obviously I’m doing something wrong…but what? I have more than 40 slides that I need to display in this way. It’s small publisher’s website and each slide would be an author, and link to that author’s page.
I’ll date myself by saying that I well remember back in 1981, learning FORTRAN under the gun, as it were, with a program suite that had to be written for a particular task and not knowing where the hell to begin. Once I got the concept of a FORTRAN problem in my head, things got a lot easier.
I did have a co-worker who was expert…looks as though I’ve got another person backing me up now.
