Add content to content slider

I’m trying to create a content slider of images, but after I insert the first one, all images can only be placed above the content slider, or below it.

  1. drag a content slider onto the page
  2. drag an image symbol onto the page
  3. drag a jpg onto the image
  4. try to add another image that will scroll horizontally
  5. nope – it appears above the content slider, or below it. Never within.

Obviously I’m doing something wrong…but what? I have more than 40 slides that I need to display in this way. It’s small publisher’s website and each slide would be an author, and link to that author’s page.

No problem, here’s a quick video I recorded for you showing how to set things up!

Let me know if you have any questions

Content Slider | RapidWeaver Elements Docs - no info … any other videos on Youtube? @dan

Now info …

Thanks very much, Dan.

I’m slowly working my way into Elements.

I’ll date myself by saying that I well remember back in 1981, learning FORTRAN under the gun, as it were, with a program suite that had to be written for a particular task and not knowing where the hell to begin. Once I got the concept of a FORTRAN problem in my head, things got a lot easier.

I did have a co-worker who was expert…looks as though I’ve got another person backing me up now.

Whoops! I thought I was replying to an ordinary email rather than posting on the Forum.

I was born in 78, so FORTRAN is a little before my time

But, yes we’re here to help out and solve issues where we can!

Cheers :clinking_beer_mugs:
