I’m looking for some advice on adding a SoundCloud player to my page. I can copy the embed code of one of my songs from Soundcloud into an HTML component on my page and it works. However, when I want to paste another embed code into another HTML component on the same page it duplicates itself into the first HTML component and I get the same player twice.
How do you get multiple Soundcloud players with different songs onto the same page? Maybe there is another way of doing this without using the HTML component?
On top of HTML component in middle change the HTML name each time so you have multiples, if you leave it as HTML each time you change it it will change to last one pasted.
Yes, it worked, thank you…However, the players do not look quite the same as they did with the Soundcloud stack in Rapidweaver. The artwork is not formatted in the same way and it just doesn’t look as good. I will make another post requesting that someone develop a Soundcloud component. I would willingly pay for it.
Andrew if you upload your file I can have a look for you, if you dont want it public just upload to cloud and email me link or just do a new file with a couple of examples in. TIA
Paul, Thank you…I will assemble an email for you to look at. However, I have discovered that the Soundcloud stack in Rapidweaver requires one to only enter the URL for the Soundcloud playlist or song whereas in Elements it requires embedding the full player code, and that seems to make the difference in how it comes out.
