dont know why all the settings the same all I altered was a couple of words.
when I couldnt get it to work I erased all files form the host and republished but the file on the host remains empty. the other site on the same host works ok with all the same settings??
Did you do a republish all ?
after a simple alteration didnt work I erased everything from most and re published all but nothings is getting to the host..no settings were altered…..other site I have with same host works fine regarding publishing

Are you getting any error message when trying to publish? Can you attach a screenshot showing the error if so?
If you could send over your publishing logs that would also help.
Make sure you’ve enabled upload logging first:

ive got it woking after getting in touch with my host….ive got 2 sites with them and all settings were the same and not had any problems.
wierd tho that they said there was this path line I had to add which I done and it worked. But my other site doesnt have this path line added. also why now?? was ok 5 days ago.
also before I added this line they told me I kept trying to of a re bibles all files then all of a sudden stuff stared appearing in the file manager on my host so really weird
this is the line I had to add to path line in the publishing bit
/customers/7/7/d/cgcejbod1/webroots/www
Ok, great to hear your web host was able to help get it sorted. Yeah, getting the path correct can be a struggles sometimes. That path you have there looks interesting.

never put anything in the path field so really strange that this got it working….I do think tho that my 2 sites are on different servers cos I remember way back they upgraded to different ones….but I wont be adding that line to my other site….if it aint broke !!!
