After transfer to new Mac, plugins are not working

Hi everyone,
I have run into the following problem:
I installed my Rapidweaver 9.5. on my new Mac Mini and then got the folder with all my projects onto it. It included the folder with all the Addons and I connected Rapidweaver to this folder. However, I get the message that five of the plugins “Couldn’t obtain plugin principal class”.
Maybe I should also mention that I have moved my Home folder from the Mac Mini SSD to a larger external SSD drive.
Can anybody help?
Thanks,
Franz

I’m not sure if you moved all the resources.
RW make a folder when you install it, and in that folder you’ll find settings, themes, and stacks.
Open the folder and check that all the components you had on the old Mac are there.

I am pretty sure that I have moved the whole folder. However, it is my impression that the plugins are saved somewhere else, not at the new drive or folder, when I tried to re-install them. Maybe it has to do with the localisation of the folders in the Library. But I have not the knowledge how that functions.

There’s a single folder and it should contain everything: plugins, stacks, and themes. If the plugin is missing, can you reinstall it?

Yes, I know. I have copied this Add-ons-Folder with all the stacks and plugins. They are there on my external SSD. When I start RW the missing plugins are shown and there is a message that I should update them. Now, there is no update for PlusKit, which I have used a lot in my pages. I copied unto desktop, started it, installed it, opened RW again – same message. I am puzzled.

Pls give the following a try:

Use Finder, then in the Applications folder select the RapidWeaver App. Show Information. Select check box Open with Rosetta. This should help with the Class prinicipal error. Some of your plugins are Intel code only (Plus Kit for sure was never compiled for ARM) and your new mini is using an Apple CPU (i.e. ARM code). Hope this helps.

Das war ein so guter Hinweis, vielen Dank! Es funktioniert jetzt, die Warnmeldungen sind weg, die Module hauen hin…
For English speakers: Great counsel, it works now!
