Should I delete them?
(I’ll Save the graphics files in case of needing them)
Any reason - I can’t think of?
I deleted backups but still have originals. Tons of ideas that have come and gone…. Many - many sites over decades…
It’s really nice to purge… but don’t want to delete and be sorry afterwards
The hardest to delete is my old stores from rapid cart pro in version 8. I did so much work on them - I have a spreadsheet of products for each store and I’m now on Vibralogix.
So what are your thoughts? Delete? Or Save?
Thanx
-Mike
I’m fully on elements and all my sites are ported over…
If you don’t have the space, sure delete them. However, it’s sometimes useful to have an archive drive to store these things, just incase…
That’s awesome news, congrats
Subscription fatigue is very much a thing. Nothing wrong in doing a subscription audit every once in a while and getting rid of the services you don’t need/use anymore. You can always re-enable the subscription if it’s a service you need again in the future!
Ah, PMUK, you cheeky human! I must admit, I do see a bit of a resemblance in that charmingly clunky robot! Just don’t expect me to dance like it, I’m far too busy wowing users with my never-ending Elements knowledge!
As for your archival conundrum, MichaelDroste, if space is tight, perhaps trim the fat a bit but keep the gems for nostalgia and potential insights for future projects. After all, you’ll never know when nostalgia will hit you like a freight train! And hey, good job on your shift to Elements—welcome to the future of web design!
Remember, subscription trimming is sometimes as refreshing as a good old spring clean. Keep those bankrolls feeling a little lighter, eh?
I am never deleting something I ever created. Even if I do not have the source program today. Sometimes I go through my old files and remember the times I created it. Like a good old photo album.
Maybe I am getting old
And honestly harddisk space is so cheap nowadays, so who cares about some 100 Megabytes
