A couple of years ago I used BackSnap with excellent results.
Could any of you inform me if it is discontinued? It no longer works on my site.
I’m aware of CommentsStack, but BackSnap somehow allowed “two-way” communication.

As far as I know, they have discontinued it for a while. I know @yabdab has the manual for it under the archive area of his Zendesk.

I recently upgraded PHP on my server. I wonder if the BackSnap glitch has something to do with it?
Good chance that that’s what caused the issue.
Don’t know what old version of PHP you had and what you upgraded to. There have been quite a lot change with PHP since this product was out (goes back to version 2.1.6 of Stacks).
I never had this product but the manual mentions
Debug Mode
Enabling Debug mode will allow detailed PHP errors to be displayed. This should be enabled during troubleshooting/setup and disabled when site is in production usage.
Might give a clue.

Solved. After a detailed search I finally found the flaw. The database got corrupted.
