As Attachments require certain hosting securities to be disabled for it to work sounds pretty serious to me is it going to be upgraded to work securely with the hosting companies as a matter of urgency?
maybe its just a few hosting companies…my form works ok with attachments. so if its one or two out of thousands of hosts why alter things when it could alter things for the thousand of host that it DOES work for!!! and ive also had no problems regarding security with my host.
ps @dan I did notice when I had a file that had lots of characters in and dragged in the attachment it said sent but I never recieved it (the attachment that is)…as soon as I changed it to a more respectable title it went and was received dont know if thats an elements thing or my mail app
do you have options in your email admin center, not sure who you host with, that you could change to test, perhaps you have very strict protection, maybe be completely wrong ignore if you dont or are set
are you just not able to setup a single page with form. etc and load to a folder on your server to test so quick check and load
Thank you for your guidance, but I have it solved now I used Joes stacks which works. Removed the contact us page and link and connected via the contact us through links the footer and where needed it works fine now.

I didn’t see why I should compromise on security and this works, wish I thought of it 4 weeks ago, it would have saved hours, but its teaching me patience, and patience is a good thing.
Glad you solved it, not great running Elements and Rapidweaver/stacks
and if Joe stops support down the line and elements alters code…that could be a problem.
Why it works brilliant, and straight off it is now down to Dan and Ben to get the attachment to work for all hosting companies. Surely security is the most important aspect these days.
Glad you found a workaround.
We’re working on improving the form, and you can expect some more updates soon.
Why it works brilliant, and straight off and is not affected by Elements code it is Stand alone Classic and Elements in the same root folder that link to each other. And when Stacks Beta is ready to go who knows, it is now down to Dan and Ben to get the attachment to work for all hosting companies. Surely top level security is the most important aspect these days.
Thank You Da.
Kind regards
Graham
