How do you get the background color to engage. My component is clear no matter what background color is chosen. Same with the border color. I should say the border color is white no matter what color is selected.
See if you have a hover State active and check if you have set the correct background for start and end,
There is no start and end on this component.

I have only the free version of the component so my settings are limited. But typically there are two pitfalls which cause the described behaviour.
- What @Fuellemann already wrote check the hover states. in my version there is a Hover state and a Normal state
- You are doing your settings in Elements either in light mode or in dark mode only. In preview your browser is showing the page according your system settings probably in another mode than you are working. So check the colors in light & dark mode
If that does not help, as @PMUK wrote a screenshot can be helpful. And we should ping @MultiThemes as the developer in the discussion.
I didn’t know that about light and dark mode. However my project does not have those icons at the top.
So I tried it in the fitness demo site. It has no effect, the BTTT Pro icon is transparent.
BTW I have the same problem with the free version.

Have you already tried to re-assign the colors? Sometimes when you copy a segment from one page to another or from one project to another, Elements is loosing the color settings - even it looks correct on screen. In your case simply click on the color and try it with e.g. a red. Does it show then the red? If yes, select the color you want to use.
This is a fresh instal of the new component.
Since trying it I have never seen a background color appear no matter what the color selection.
Ok, can you prepare a sample for me and upload it to the Elements Cloud. I will have a look. But only with the free version, I do not have the pro one

I download your file and found the reason why it is not showing the colors correct. You are still on Elements 2.
Back To Top (Pro and non Pro) with the latest Builds requires Elements 3 because of the new color system of Tailwind 4. Therefore the colors are incorrect on your side.
The only solution unfortunatelly is that you update to Elements 3. But as the Betas are very stable this is not really a problem.
Well that is well hidden. His website doesn’t even list Build 6.
Meanwhile, this is interesting.
I know this video and it is a really good one. But I would say as you already own Back to Top Pro it is easier to update to Elements 3 which will soon be out of Beta and will be the future.
I can say the @MultiThemes products are really top quality. Maybe Michelangelo sees this thread and jumps in to explain why the situation is as it is.

Having said that I would expect any component seller to make it known in big fat letters Requires V3!

Build 3.0.9 is very stable and recommended by Dan and Ben… - perhaps consider it…
Does it overwrite 2.4.4?
It updates in place, so it’ll replace 2.4.4 in your Applications folder. If you want to keep 2.4.4 around, duplicate Elements in Applications and rename the copy before you update. You can also re-download any older build from the release notes page if you ever want to go back.

I must have used that video myself as I have a working scroll to the top button. I was going to post the code yesterday but comments about components confused me as I was not aware that there was one for this.
Anyway, happy to post the code here if you want to use it while you wait for V3.
