Background Component Not Displaying Text

@dan When placing a text or typography component inside a Background component, the text displays fine in the editor but does not show up in the browser. It is not only text items nothing seems to be rendering inside the background. Placing another component like a button works fine in the editor but does not show up in the browser.

After more testing I found that an Image and Accordion component do work. An SVG does not.

This just showed up yesterday for me. Not sure what is going on but thought it best to report it. Im surprised nobody else has run into it.

Doh! I’ve managed to re-create this issue here, so we’ll make sure this gets fixed for the next build :saluting_face:

I have text showing in background component…is this only if creating one now after latest build?

Not sure yet, we’re looking into. Eitherway we’ll get it fixed!

its when creating a new one…my older ones publish ok…just added a new one with text and tex like he said before does not show
update.
I put an image in and made it small then published and text shows up yo the edge of the image.

I had the same problem yesterday. I put the text in a Container in the Background and it works.

Yes, if you put the text in a container it works no problem, it is when you put it directly in the background that it does not work.
