Not sure if it helps but, if I use Safari/Safari Technology Preview I get the same issue, disappearing after a refresh.
If I use Opera, which I normally don’t, I don’t get an issue, even if I refresh many times ??

Thanks Russ, it’s a possibility, but unfortunately, I can’t count on customers or prospects using that particular browser. It’s gotta work all the time.

I was just mentioning it in case it helped with debugging.
Is there anything in the server logs?

I find Elements totally unusable. Sorry I purchased it.

ive used blocs sitely rw classic and elements is by far the easiest to use..admitedly perhaps others have more options at present but cant believe how hard others make going through the breakpoints etc

What, exactly, do you find unusable??

I have tried many other web design software packages, and Elements is the first one I have liked since GoLive. It was the first one that I have been able to successfully re-create my website (that was originally built in GoLive).

Interesting to know what you find unsuitable about using Elements
Without knowing what are are trying to produce difficult for anyone to help

Bearing in mind web pages are mostly menu text images and videos etc

There are additional features that are available within Elements with much more in train

Few hours of understanding, most components have similar options once you have been through those options you almost know every component

Grid and flex are powerfull and do pose a learning curve but have been made simple out of the box

Plenty of help on this forum

The latest resources and projects have introduced just drag and drop page building

I have lots of web building software finding Elements really intuitive and enjoyable to use, in my my opinion the best of all of them and not even finished yet

I am trying to add video to a web page and seem to be unable to do so.

is the video on your local drive

or external YouTube etc

Local drive

I dropped my video into resources, very simple setup

just dropped in page could be grid container flex etc

video is me on my paddle board

link to manual types of video

https://docs.realmacsoftware.com/elements-docs/elements-app/components/built-in-components/video

in a container grid 4 rotated

Thanks
