I got it! I watched Ben’s video again and realized that I hadn’t placed the related items component inside the corresponding CMS item that provides the data for processing. Now everything is working. BUT I noticed one thing: when I set the limit to 3 in the related items settings, only 2 are displayed. If I set the limit to 4, only 3 show up, and so on… Not a big deal overall — just a small cosmetic issue. [Bildschirmfoto 2025-10-26 um 11.39.23] [Bildschirmfoto 2025-10-26 um 11.44.43]

It seems there’s still a problem when detecting the frontmatter image src.

When the image is defined like this, it’s recognized and displayed correctly in the related items:

    src: https://www.peteryates.co.uk/resources/blog/ryder-and-yates-norgas-house.jpg
    alt: Coalface 25 Exhibition at the Vane Gallery, Gateshead
    title: "Ryder and Yates Norgas House, 1965"

However, when it’s defined like this:

    src: blog/ryder-and-yates-norgas-house.jpg
    alt: Coalface 25 Exhibition at the Vane Gallery, Gateshead
    title: "Ryder and Yates Norgas House, 1965"

…the image component itself recognizes and displays the image correctly, but the related items component has trouble detecting it.

Since I noticed the same issue on my end, I’m assuming it’s a bug.

Thsi should be fixed if you’re running 1.4.3 - let me know.

That looks like a bug to me and something we’ll need to fix up, thanks for the report, we’ll get right on it!

Thanks everybody - I updated to 143 Dan … and my related items disappeared entirely : )

Could also be my fiddling though - will have another try this afternoon

Related items still working in my test project here, so probably something you’ve changed in your project…

In my project, when the blog is the home page, related items works. When the same blog is not the home page, it doesn’t work anymore.
