I am really missing better Blur / Shadow control in Effects. With only Opacity and color I am not really able to create smoother and wider drop shadows. It would be great to have control over this like for example Keynote has. With Offset and Angle. …just a suggestion to consider.
You can create pretty complex reusable shadows in the Theme Studio (or by selecting custom) inside Elements, check this out:

I searched the Forum for Blur and not much came up so I gave a shot ;-( I guess I still have a long way ahead.
