Breadcrumb

I would like to add a breadcrumb in order to match a site feature I had in Classic

Does anybody have any ideas how to do this ?

Thank you

Jol

Try the bot @elementsbot

Hey Jol! To add a breadcrumb in Elements, you can use the built-in components or create a Custom Component if you need something specific. If you need site-wide changes, consider adjusting the Template under Project Settings. Remember, I’m just a bot and might hallucinate, so double-check with the community or the Realmac Team if needed!

Well that was helpful:rofl::rofl: where’s the component he should use if it’s not custom?

Hey Jol! For breadcrumbs in Elements, you can use the built-in Menu Component and customize it to act like a breadcrumb. If you need something more specific, you might have to create a Custom Component. Always double-check with the community or the Realmac Team for the best approach. Remember, I’m just a bot and might hallucinate sometimes!

Almost all commercial projects deliver some ā€˜custom’ components (which are integrated into the project), including Breadcrumb (this version is usable in your project). When the store is ready, it will be distributed there as a component. Cordial example,

Great example of something that’s will go on the store whenever in the future As I have a small amount of money to spend before March 31st - end of financial year - do you do ā€œprivateā€ help on a theme I need but haven’t a clue on best way? I have a large amounts of assets - cartoon characters - and need to update my old website and I’m looking to convert it to Elements.

As I’ve used your products in past I would like to try support some developers in this in between stage.

Thanks Paul

Awesome - small spelling mistake here

So - can I utilise the components from Cordial on my site now - or do I need to wait ?

Apologies if I don’t understand

To provide an alternative to the Classic tools for users who want to make the transition to Elements, I created some custom components as a starter kit.

ā€˜Custom’ components are managed by the project, they are packages without external resources that can also be used in other projects.
