Can I give away my PDF Viewer Dev component?

Is that ok? Allowed?

Do I need to have a dev account?

Does it need to be signed? Or will it work for people?

Sorry to ask such basic questions…

I think you will find like a lot of us who have given away projects free in the past that you have to apply to put things on store as per Join the Partner Program | Store | RapidWeaver Elements Docs We are all waiting to find out how we can add free things.

Still waiting for this

In the meantime we want to build in support for sharing of free components. We think this will help meaningfully grow the Elements user base and give everyone access to a much wider range of building blocks.

@dan please could you update this support for sharing of free components will happen, or is it no longer an option

Short side note… needed to fix / update the component..

Would not work in mobile - bug in iframe won’t show past the first page…

Needed to change the code for all phone devices…

Works great now - 70 mb 350+ page book doing great

Yes, this is amazing. I just had a live search component developed in 1 hour with some back and forth. To extend the possibilities of Elements this way is really great.

Still I would buy a component if possible just to have a decent design and from someone who understands what the code is doing exactly. But for now, it works great.
