I brought this up on the Foundry forum and can faintly remember that there were some people showing ways to do this. I really want to put a social media link in the sidebar and if I remember correctly you are able to place it right there in the main area or down in the footer.
I just opened a social accounts for each of my websites right as the Elixir Graphics forums went down. So now that I’m ready to advertise my Bluesky page I’ve got to ask here again how to do it! Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me do it again.
Slide Nav simply lists all the pages in your project, in the order that they appear in your project.
If you need to add a link to a page that is not in your project, like an external URL, you can add a new page of the “Offsite Page” and enter the URL in that page’s settings:
On the old Elixir forums, there was a thread in which someone used the “Bottom Nav Bar” option, and instead of entering text there, entered an img-tag to display a clickable icon instead of plain text:
Oh that’s right! I so habitually pick the new stack option that I almost forget all the other choices that are below it. I’m still not 100% sure what I want to do with the bottom label area. I might just keep it for a description of what is on that current page. If I had a whole group of social icons it might be a good place for that but with only Bluesky I likely makes the most sense to just list it like a normal page.
